The Warming Center Opens November 1st

Warming center
The Warming Center, Bozeman’s seasonal homeless shelter, will open its doors for the fifth year on November 1st.  The Warming Center is operated by the Human Resource Development Council (HRDC) and is open nightly from 7 pm to 7 am through the cold winter months.  The center provides a warm, safe place to stay for men, women and families who are experiencing homelessness.  The center is at 2104 Industrial Drive (the old Thompson’s Rental building near Griffin and Rouse).  This is the same building that now houses the Community Showers.
Volunteers are crucial to the operation of the Warming Center.  Trainings are held every Thursday from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm at the Warming Center starting in October.  There are three volunteer shifts available:
7 pm – 11 pm
7 pm – 1 am
1 am – 7 am
