Grow in Your Faith

Sunday School for All Ages

During the school year (from the weekend after Labor Day in September through the weekend before Memorial Day in May), BUMC offers a variety of “Faith Furthering” classes, discussion groups, and studies.
Children learn in a hands on setting with excellent teachers and leaders. In their
Sunday School classes they experience God’s Word through a variety of ways: drama, science, activities, and more.
We also have opportunities for teens and adults.  Middle School and High School age youth meet with leaders to discuss the Bible, Christianity, the Church, and how it can all work together to help them in every day life.
For more information on “Growing Your Faith” contact (Christian Education, Ministry 6th Grade-Adult) or

Weekday Study

Also during the school year, opportunities for “Growing Your Faith” are available through classes and small groups.
Nearly every Wednesday, Adult Studies are offered after worship. Pastor Deb leads a class at this time; and we often have guest speakers/leaders.
BUMC is a sponsor of the WEBS (Women’s Ecumenical Bible Study) program. WEBS is open to all women in our community, with days and times announced in the fall.
Many small groups are active at BUMC: Men’s Breakfast Group meets at Sola CafĂ© on Thursday mornings, Mom’s Morning Out meets at the Church on Friday mornings, Widow’s Support Group meets at the church on Wednesdays… For specific times and dates, please see the calendar.

WOW Team & Youth Group

The WOW Team, BUMC’s youngest Mission team, is for Kindergarten through 5th grade age kids.  They meet on Wednesdays from 3:45 to 5:00 PM in the Friendship Room, during the school year to work on mission projects, have fun, and grow!  From selling their toys to raise money for others, to hosting tea parties to honor their elders, this group of youngsters is reaching out and making a difference. Email for information.
Youth Group meets every Wednesday night from 6:30 to 8:15 in the Friendship Room. Students 6th-12th grades are invited to share a meal together, sing, hear from the Pastor or other encouraging speaker, and also break out into discussion groups with their peers and leader.  Service projects, mission trips, and weekend retreats are all highlights of Youth Group.  Contact the BUMC Youth & Family Ministries Coordinator, for more information.

College Age

An active and thriving campus and young adult ministry (CYAM) meets regularly, every Tuesday night from 6-8:00 PM at the Christus Collegium.  This Tuesday Night Together fellowship, “TNT”, includes dinner, music (with our own amazing band), and some games and discussion.  A student-led bible study, mission trip, and social activities are highlights of this  fun and enriching group.
